Frank Burczynski
Part of IMAG e.V. for over 25 years – board member, Head Coach, and a defining figure of the club.
Frank has been part of IMAG e.V. since 1998/1999, making him one of the club's longest-standing members. He has served on the board for about 20 years, where he's responsible for the club's accounting, among other things. Together with Denise Krahn and Björn Rudolph, he also handles membership administration.
As Head Coach of Hilti BJJ Berlin, Frank shapes the team's technical direction and long-term development. As a BJJ Black Belt 3rd Degree, he stands for structured training, technical precision, and the sustainable development of his athletes. His goal is to build a strong training culture in which recreational and competitive athletes alike can grow.
Frank still competes actively today. In the masters division, he has won multiple medals at European and World Championships. He's also active internationally as a BJJ referee and holds the World-A license, one of the highest qualifications in BJJ officiating.
